How to create a Polarr filter?

1. Creating a filter

After adjustments are made to an image, open the Filter panel and select "Create Filter"; you will have then created your filter!

2. Generating QR code or Shortcode

By switching on the "Show QR Code" option in the “Create Filter” tab, your filter will be displayed in the form of QR code, and when this option is turned off, the filter will be displayed in the form of shortcode. Here you can also name your filter, add tags, and publish your filter to share it with others.

Polarr allows sharing filter as a short text code as it is sometimes more convenient to use text than pictures (e.g., when making comments), and on the other hand, some social platforms do not allow or restrict the use of QR codes, so the shortcode is a filter sharing method suitable for more occasions.

3. Setting social links

Setting your personal social links can help you gain more followers. At this time, we support links to TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat. There are a few ways to edit your social links:

When creating a filter, there will be an option to "Set social links".

Alternatively, you can set up your social links through your Polarr profile. Tap the "Profile panel -> Edit profile -> Set social links" to fill in your personal social links.

After setting your social links, others will be able to see your social links when importing your filter, and can click on the links to follow your social pages.
