Video editing used to be complex and stressful. Our mission has always been to offer applications that would allow creators and people to easily express their unique visual aesthetics to others. Our new 24FPS Copilot allows creators to instantly edit videos with your own words and learn additional editing skills throughout the process.

The 24FPS Copilot utilizes artificial general intelligence to help you apply the edits that you would like to see on your video. When you ask the 24FPS Copilot to create an edit such as “create a Matrix inspired edit with code falling down” you are providing the 24FPS Copilot with a prompt that they can use to generate your desired outcome. The 24FPS Copilot will then match your request to the correct categories in 24FPS’ editing commands and make the edits that you want to see!

Don’t like the desired result? With 24FPS Copilot, you have the option to try a different editing variation where you will be provided with a new unique edit for your same prompt. You also have the option to add as many edit iterations as you would like to the final result before exporting. If you are unhappy with one of your iterations, you can also Undo or Redo your previous prompt.

Occasionally, there will be prompts which won’t match categories within 24FPS’ editing commands or where the Copilot cannot understand your initial prompt and will make a guess at what you intended to mean. Currently, the 24FPS Copilot is able to create video edits that include global adjustments, selection adjustments (add a black and white filter to the background), overlays, selection overlays (add hearts to the person only), text, and overlays with face tracking (add a Santa hat to my head).

While new technology opens up new possibilities, we understand that new concerns may also arise. Our team is committed to learning and training our Copilot to serve our community in the best way possible. The 24FPS Copilot includes protective measures that reviews prompts for terms that might generate harmful or unsafe edits or any prompts that violate our
Community Guidelines.

We recognize the importance of responsible innovation and while our work in this space will never be complete, we hope to contribute to safe, equitable, responsible, and accessible technology with the 24FPS Copilot.

FAQ

How are the 24FPS Copilot edits made?

To create AI-generated edits, the 24FPS Copilot uses a learning model that scans millions of filters made in Polarr and 24FPS along with the text associated with them. The 24FPS Copilot spots trends in the filters and text where they begin to guess which adjustments and text fit together. Once the 24FPS Copilot can predict what an image should look like from a given text, it/they can create entirely new edits from scratch based on the unique prompt you may enter on the app.

Does the 24FPS Copilot use or collect my data?

In order for the 24FPS Copilot to make edits, your image is uploaded to the cloud for the Copilot to process, and is then deleted instantly after the processing is done. When processing, the Copilot will examine your image’s statistics such as Luminance, Color Distribution, etc. to suggest the best adjustments for your vision. The processing (and our 24FPS Copilot) is purely machine based without any visibility to any human – so your privacy is fully protected. Your image, image’s data, and prompts will not and are not saved.
