Aura Community Guidelines
Aura is a platform by Polarr Inc. that lets you find communities who share your interests and connect through creativity. In order to express yourself, it’s important that you feel safe. Our guidelines are designed to help you thrive in a diverse and respectful community. Be respectful, be authentic and follow the law.
To protect everyone in our community and honor this commitment, we may remove content that does not follow our guidelines. And if someone breaks our guidelines repeatedly, their account may be suspended or removed.

SAFETY & PRIVACY
Threats, Hate Speech and Bullying
Do not threaten harm of any kind towards anyone. We have a zero tolerance policy for content that degrades, shames or harasses others. Content, comments or messages that encourage violence or attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities or diseases are not welcome on Aura.
Private and Personal Information
Don’t solicit or share content of any kind that reveals any private or sensitive information about another person. This includes addresses, phone numbers, license plates, identification cards, passwords or anything else that could be considered personal.
We have zero tolerance when it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors or threatening to post intimate images of others.
Content or comments that glorify or promote self-harm of any kind are not welcome on Aura. This includes graphic content that showcases eating disorders, self-injury (eg. cutting) or suicide — as well as any behavior, such as daring games, that could place people at the risk of serious harm.
Do not post content or comments that praise or support terrorism, organized crime or hate groups. We do not allow content that offers or solicits sexual services or the sale or purchase of firearms, alcohol, tobacco or prescription drugs.
Nudity and Sexual Content
As a rule, we do not allow nudity or sexual content on Aura. This includes content that shows sexual intercourse, masturbation, genitals and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. This also includes some photos of female nipples, however photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed. Nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures is allowed.
Any nude content involving minors or content that appears to be sexualizing a minor will be removed and reported to the proper authorities.
Spam and Phishing
Spammy and misleading content has no place on Aura. This includes posting repetitive comments or content, repeatedly contacting people for commercial purposes and any behavior that engages in artificially collecting likes, followers or shares including offers and giveaways.
You do not have to use your real name or photo on Aura, but you may not create accounts or engage in behavior that impersonates or misleads others.
Trademark and Copyright
Only share original content to which you own the rights. We do not allow people to upload someone else's copyrighted or trademarked content.
Per our Terms of Service and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied on the platform, you can file a DMCA takedown request here.
